Ohhhhh maaan,
how can I describe this feeling- this feeling of being ready last minute. I can remember the times I wrote my University thesis and I felt the same…printed everything on the last day before I handed in the thesis….
For us it means we completed our renovation just in the right moment. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and we will be full, in 2 days time we will be fully booked. It is a great feeling to harvest the fruit now. And almost all our guests love the place (at least that is what they are telling us :-))
In the last days also several people from private guesthouses came to chill at our beach. It feels amazing to see people enjoying their holidays and sipping Pina Colada in a hammock.
Also with regard to paperwork it is going well now: we have our hotel licence, we have our tax numbers and we have our work permits. The resident permit is still in progress but will be available soon.
So dear lovely friends, what else can we say than we love our new lives? We miss you all like crazy. But we are so grateful and happy that Markos is already @Evergreen Bungalows and Sandy, Hank, Maja, Peter, Stefan and Mom will follow tomorrow – tomorrow…….unbelievable.
We are waiting for the rest of the gang in Germany and will be very happy to have everyone here soon.
Come and visit us and spread the word that Evergreen Bungalows is one of the last few hidden real chill out places on Zanzibar’s East Coast 🙂
